The reported weather from the departure point of Aniak last Thursday was overcast at 6,500 to 7,500ft , winds at 7 to 14 knots and 10 miles visibility. Just fine for a PA-11. But it is about 39-40 nautical miles down to Marvel Dome from Aniak, so who knows what it looked like down there last Thursday. I wonder if anyone was down at the mine site this time of year?

Some crashes are accidents. Some aren't. RIP.
