    Hey Rob,

We are still on track for original quoted delivery of June sometime. The boat should be rolled into the rigging department by the end of this week! Wont be long till your cruising PWS bud!

Are you driving down? Or have you not got a shipping date scheduled? When I ordered my boat that was the first thing I set up so it could get on the ferry and it was cheaper than what it would have cost me to drive down there and pick up and I got er on the first ferry. Cant wait to see you out there!!

I was planning driving down, but ran out of open leave dates at work after June 9th. So now I have to start searching ferry or barge prices. We were looking forward to the drive.

I used the AMHS to bring one of my old boats up. About $2000 if I remember correctly. I remember the schedule for boats filled up fast. If you go that route, you don't have to spend the night before in Whittier like the web site / e-mail will tell you. The local operators know the first tunnel time and just ask that you make that first tunnel of the day.

Ya you are correct Make the first tunnel!! I made the mistake of staying in Girdwood the night before and had a few too many and made the second tunnel. Charged me an extra 100 bucks since they had to offload it

    No carpet in the bathroom?
Hard to see if there is any on the lower shelf either, about knee level when at the table?

    Looking good though.

    Default 27' Wooldridge Pilothouse Build

BK. The entire inside including the head is supposed to be carpeted. Maybe it's lacking where others pieces are going to be mounted.

Carpet in the head? I thought you guys were kidding. Imagine tracking in fish slime, etc. on your footwear. Anyone ever unintentionally dribble a bit? I bet that will be fun to keep clean and not smelling like an outhouse. Maybe a non issue, for now....boat looks great!

Uncarpeted areas on exterior walls tend to sweat during cold weather.
Not all walls or spaces need carpeting either.

Yeah, we discussed carpet in the head a few times. We aren't going with a drain in the floor or taking a shower in the head. Carpet on the walls would really keep things warm and dry. Not having carpet in there doesn't bother me at all. Like you say Gary, it has some draw backs too I guess. Inside the cabin is where the carpet really matters. Love the color too. Glad we didn't go with the lighter color.

    Rob,

Our standard head would not have carpet on the walls in the head for the reasons Garyak mentioned. The ceiling is carpeted and the walls are painted. Did you want carpet on the walls? If so, then contact Nick and let him know.

    Thanks,

    Grant

    Rob,

Just confirm with Nick or I if you would like it and we can make sure that happens.

    Thanks,

    Grant
