Default How big is this bull (video)

This bull was some 2.5 miles off the lake I was hunting. He would listen but would not come.

I'd venture 60" and some change. That's a lot of bull!

65ish was the first number that came to my mind as well. Don't get to see as many animals that size to get as much practice judging them. Heck of a bull with a HECK of a pack out too.

It has been my experience when the sun reflect off of moose antlers it amplified there size. For all we know they could be under 50 inches.

I would be more interested in knowing what call would have brought that bull in closer.

That bull makes my back and shoulders hurt. I'd have to go hiking. He's a bull big enough I'd go the extra mile(s) to see just how big he was.

Default The bull that came in while calling this one

This is the bull that came in while I was calling to that bull up on the mountain. He is a huge bodied bull and old. (54.5" with the sun shining on his palms) and he was way smaller than the bull on the mountain.

You made the right decision. A bull in the hand...

Tho the one on the mountain might have come over near your camp during the night- I've had that happen.
