    Default Well this is addicting.

I had a hunted planned with my other half, well turns out she needs major surgery and can not go. Went down to the Forest Service to fill out my Designated Hunter info so I could atleast harvest her deer. Well turns out I also get her goat tag too if I want it. So pack is reloaded, I take the boat to a bay midday Friday and hike 4 miles into a small lake. The plan is still deer....but if there is a nice billy up there I might make the hike a little higher.

After I got off the mountain last week I never thought I would want to go back this quick. Pretty pumped now...hard to hide excitement form the old lady.

Interesting. I thought proxy hunting was only allowed for deer, caribou, and moose? Or is this a Federal goat tag? Or perhaps I'm wrong on the proxy rules? Either way, good luck to you! Heading out goat hunting myself after I get off work today.

Interesting. Thanks for the info! I've never taken part in federal hunts, so that's all new to me.
