    Default .22cal Air Rifle

I'm new to duck hunting as trying to figure out the regs. I don't see anywhere that says I can't use a .22 cal air rifle for popping a couple ducks on a small pond by my house. Am I right?

Federal law prohibits using a rifle for migratory waterfowl.

it's also the first bullet point in the regulations for "illegally taking game"

Just read the regs about "Illegal methods of taking game" and didn't see anything about bow and arrow. Closest thing I read was you can't use an "expanding gas arrow"....whatever that is. I know Fred Bear used to shoot pheasants out of the sky with an arrow. But that's not a federally regulated bird either.

I remember years back there was a video on the news of a Canada goose walking around Anchorage with an arrow through it head.......believe it or not.

    Default .22cal Air Rifle

How about a regular pump BB gun. i know your able to get more then one Bb in the chamber at once atleast with the one I used when I was younger to plink with. Would that turn it into an air shot gun since it's not one projectile?

Your correct, I read the regs a few times and must have skipped over that each time.
