    Default Caribou hunt area

    Hello,
Embarrassed to say this but this is the first time this year I didn't get a caribou out of unit 13!! Always go back a long ways to my favorite spot and gratefully get one. I camp for about a 6-9 days, pending on weather for meat.
Don't have time to drive back and camp with my work schedules. Wanting to take my son and try the highway system I heard people do. Need the meat and looking for an area to hunt for the weekend??
Please message me for suggestions, really want my son to get one this year!! I will bring my 6x6 ranger with me to drive back in some area's for the day, just don't know where to go.
In a bit of a panic, any suggestions for just this season to get meat, would be so greatly appreciated!!! Please message, thank you fellow hunters!!!

I saw a couple hundred 15 miles behind Butte creek off the denali. Pretty easy picking one up back there

Take a right at the first fork in the trail. Then follow the main trail across Wickersham creek.
