Agreed - that one looks awfully good at first glance. Obviously a different angle would be needed before pulling the trigger, but I'd be hunting that area hard trying to find that guy again.

The bull was there 2-3 days ago, It now sept 16. Bulls are moving around looking for cows I doubt he will be there. That said only that bull will know where he will be when you go back.
    Good luck

One of the benchmarks I use is from the side the palm needs to be big enough to completely hide the head. This guys marginal for that, but be nice to get a better look for sure.

There appears to be an awful lot of space between those palms. The palms themselves are decent too. I would be pretty surprised if he didn't make 50. I agree with Brian. Go find him, verify, shoot.

I hope this video plays...this was yesterday when I was putting the SD card back in the trail cam. Just to make things clear, where I am at I am working and the only place for me to hunt is the river banks.... I called the native corp and asked about getting a permit to hunt around here so I can put meat in my freezer back home and I was told no. so this is pretty much a watch and enjoy nature time.

He does look nice, however moose always look bigger from behind. If you had more of a front angle that's where I would judge him from efore a shot. His palms are skinny but they appear to be spread out best guess 53-55

Just looking at his ears they are laid back but imagining where they would be when alert this bull is definitely over 50 also looking at the right side and how flat it lays it doesn't look to curl up like a smaller bull would. Without a frontal view it's hard to say but I would guess him to be in the 55-57 range.

Those are cool pics on the trail cam, and that's a really good looking moose! First pic, I'd say he's likely 50+, and then the other pic facing away, he looks really wide. On the video, he's moving too fast to tell, but that doesn't look like the same bull, or is it?
