Default Cow Moose in Fairbanks Management Area

Has anyone seen any cows unaccompanied by calves lately? I drew the Fairbanks management area cow tag and am planning on driving up to Fairbanks on Friday after work (just moved from Fairbanks to Anchorage a couple of months ago). Any tips or help is greatly appreciated.

Well, um, yes - somewhere along Chena Hot Springs Road. Is that helpful?

Hahaha, thanks shore. It is helpful. Unfortunately Chena Hot Springs Rd is outside the FMA. Seeing cows is a daily occurrence it's finding the ones without calves that is a real pain!!!

I believe you're allowed to shoot a cow with a calf, or the calf itself. It's any antlerless moose. Now if you just don't want to, that's another thing.
