    Default Chugach Mountain Goat

Just got back home to Texas. This was (by far) the toughest hunt I've ever done. So incredibly blessed to take this beautiful goat.

Hoping to be within a mile or two of that spot in a month if things work out with weather and the season is still open. Nicely done! That's a brute of a billy!

I hunted with Jeremy Ruesink (Rogue Expeditions). Like an idiot, I lugged my rifle and bow up there. I shot him with my rifle at 542 yards. Should have left the bow back in TX. Thats was 8+ pounds of Alder-hooking headache that I didn't need.

He only asked because he killed one with his bow and just wants a little company......lol. Congrats...!!!

Oh and btw.... I don't know of it's just the way he was laying or what, but that has to be one of the fattest goats I ever remember seeing.....
Sheep hunting...... the pain goes away, but the stupidity remains...!!!
