Default Opening day moose hunt with my wife...what a great date!

My wife was able to finish out our opening morning hunt with a great shot that I was able to catch on film. Incredible night with Northern lights, clear skies, and moose everywhere. Made it out by 2 pm.

we wanted to pack it out in two trips...but 2 hind quarters took me a little while to figure out how to carry.

Very nice and congratulations. Groceries in the freezer. Wish I could get my wife out there with me.

Hunting especially the killing has always been a special time for me, one I have always done alone. Thank you for letting us into your moment.

Very cool moment for the two of you to share! Looks like some good meat for the winter.

Thanks for all the great comments! Just finished putting the moose in the freezer tonight. I get to go on the guys' hunt on monday...I should see some bigger bulls there. Since I don't need more meat, i'll probably be able to take more footage. It should be pretty sweet!

This is true, I didn't make any pepper sticks this year. Your right, I probably should get a bear or a caribou at least.
