    Default Kodiak Combos

Steve and Kim arrived Monday and slayed some rockfish and halibut. Kim fished a circle hook with dropper loop tied to a 16 oz weight, Steve used a lead head and was out fished! Tuesday Steve went after some deer and Kim continued to slay fish she added ling COD to her list as we replaced the weight with a 16 oz lead head. Wednesday was a silver slam with a ling bonus! Silvers preferred a coyote trolled at 16-24ft ling ate a dark blue jig given to me by kasilofchrisn, I want more

Jeff's probably back out in his "office" with the fish and deer, so you might have to wait for an answer. I'm guessing he's actually talking about Coyote Spoons from Luhr Jensen. Pretty hot number in my experience.

Yup I'm on the boat waiting for the combo people, calm foggy, prolly fish today might be better for deer Friday. Coyote spoon glow white with red racing stripe. My other boat captained by my son is having similar results trolling a cop car

Cop car is my standby, and never tried the glow/red. I'll give it a whirl. Thanks! Best wishes to you on the water and the hillsides.

Got any pics of the jig that caught the lingcod?
I think I know where some more of those can be had!
Just got a few made yesterday and today for some customers and friends.
made a few special ones and was thinking of sending you a couple to try out.

Ah yes! That one is called the cripple candy jig.
    It's real popular!
Comes in 17 different sizes from 1/8 oz to 24 oz.
Dark blue isn't the most popular color but obviously it works!
