Thread: Resurrection Creek Pinks on Odd Numbered Years

Default Resurrection Creek Pinks on Odd Numbered Years

I know that the pink salmon run is much stronger on even numbered years. Is there still a substantial run in the Turnagain Arm creeks, specifically Resurrection Creek? Shouldn't they be showing up pretty soon?

I'm pretty sure that creek gets pinks every year. Call the seaview and ask them if the pinks are in yet. I was there 2 weekends ago and there no pinks then.

There is a tide chart sticky at the top of the forum.

Any high tide works. I get there about 2 hours before and just have a blast

    Default Went there to today

No humpies being caught. None visible in stream. Overheard a guy mentioning that he had caught a male and female in the morning. Maybe next week.

    Default Above the bridge?

You should try above the Hope Highway bridge? I did with my Father-in-Law this last Wednesday on the 4th of July. We caught & released about 40 pinks in 2 hours. They seemed to like the leech patterns good.

We had the entire creek to ourselves!! I love Hope and Glad my wife's parents still have property there.
