    Default Deep Creek check list

So I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place but I'm wondering what I need to make sure I have on my trailer before I launch and retrieve from deep creek. I know I need bunkers. What else?

A method of washing the salt out of the brakes when you get home.
Make sure the wiring and lights are seal from salt water.
I did not see a antenna. Do you have a Vhf radio?

I would want a post on each side that stuck up and was brightly colored so that you can see the trailer good as you approach the back of the trailer at 10+ mph. The posts could be PVC or whatever. You have to call the tractor guys on the radio when you come in so they get your trailer in the water. Put your name or boats name on the trailer tongue to make it easy for them.

How about a larger bow catch?

Definetly wouldn't hurt! Pad it with uhmw or wood.

Yes on the bow catch. The colored pvc posts also help to figure out which trailer is yours upon aproach when multiple skidders are in the water.
