Default Looking for Barney s Pack

Hey guys I'm on the look out for one of those legendary Barney pack! Over the past 3 years I have used an osprey I picked up Cheap and it has worked great but for moose I can't fit a hind quarter in her. The bag broke 2 years ago when I was packing out 7' 8 interior bear and osprey fixed it under warranty for free which was awesome but it's time for an upgrade. I can't afford a brand new one but If you guys hear of anyone leaving the state, see one at a pawn shop or anything shoot me a pm or call me at 907 350 5960. I posted in the gear swap also. Thanks again

Well, looks like a new one is 715 plus tax.so i better not sell. I would buy thr frame for 289,and use it to haul. You can strap the meat and use a dry bag strapped to frame for your csmp.
I come home with an honestly earned feeling that something good has taken place. It makes no difference whether I got anything, it has to do with how the day was spent. Fred Bear

I concur with Yukon. I have a BullPack and have never looked back. It hauled my 150#+ green 12' Brownie hide out and our 62" moose last year and still looks new. I wouldn't even look at a Darney.

Is there a story or pictures some where on here of the 12 foot brown bear.
    Thanks

Hell Jake, as many 12'ers as you've seen that should be old hat for you by now. But I agree, that's probably some real special tape measure for sure...!!!

Found a old post with picture from Jeff but the measurements there where 12x9, not sure if same bear or not as the 12'er. But still an awesome bear!

Great bear for sure! And quite a cowinkidink that one of the measurements was 12'. But....12' wide + 9' high = if I'm not mistaken is 21' divided by 2 = (again, if I'm not mistaken) is 10' 6"....

But maybe we're not talkin' about squared here...??? I know that whenever I hear a measurement thrown out all I think about is a squared number.....but that's just me.
