I say 6,, needs to simmer a few more years. He has potential, he put on a lot of horn by 4. Those 2 together may be a year, or a false annuli. Thick neck, roman nose,, he will be a great ram one day.

Personally, I think you did good on passing him up last year. Even at an inch longer on the other side to me it still would have been a tuff call. Did his lamb tips tip out at all? Although he does seem to carry down low along the jaw, which is always a good sign, even this year he may be "iffy". Hopefully he's eaten well since you last saw him. And also hopefully he didn't get shot last year, unless you let him pass on the last day.

Good luck and let us know how it goes this season....

Oh and btw.....will you, or have you been hunting sheep with a bow?

While this sheep looks good, it is one that I would just sit and watch. Maybe in a couple more years he will be worth harvesting.

Thanks for all the feedback. The lamb tips did flare quite a bit. I wish I had more pics but it's mostly video and when I pause it, the icon blocks the view. I agree he wasn't legal but part of me kept trying to believe he was. Maybe I can edit the video on the computer and get a different angle.

Not even worth ten minutes of glassing him. At least two years before he's a legal ram contender.
