    Default Something in the backyard

We saw this in my grandmother's backyard. It looks like a domestic cow's droppings. There are no cows anywhere near her home in Kenai. Any ideas on what animal left this? https://scontent.fsnc1-2.fna.fbcdn.n...g=eyJpIjoidCJ9

I am used to seeing moose leave more of round pellets. Must have diarrhea.

What you found is very common when a moose is feeding in or around a lake or stream.
Never thought of it that way, but yes.

Different food sources in the summer coupled with a seasonal change in their intestinal bacteria leads to a change in their feces. The round ones you're familiar with are generally left in the winter.

Moose can't digest wood. So in the winter the small nuggets are basicly sawdust, because winter feed is largely a woody browse. Once spring/summer hits and they eat more fresh growth/green browse they can digest a higher percentage of what they take in and this eliminate different material. Imagine you ate mountain house all winter then Chinese food in the spring...your crap would change too!!

If it was bear there would be grass, leaves, berries, fur or fish parts in it.

It's clearly from a Chupacabra or Hillary Clinton has been fundraising near your Grandma's house.
