Legal Rams are few and far between. Airboat doesn't get you close to them. You'll bust a hump to get a legal ram out of that country.

I flew over the area last August and we spotted numerous sheep. The only way to get a boat in there would be strap it to a Super Cub, and you'd have to drag it 10 miles or more before it could even float. Of course I'm being facetious...I was caribou hunting alone in an area far above (upstream and elevation) any decent water flow, and several miles from any water that ended up in the Salcha. I saw sheep every day and had them near my camp. Tough, hungry country.

There should be a rule: Absolutely no discussion of sheep areas on a public forum. We'd all (and the sheep) be better off.

I don't think Bushrat was talking about freedom of speech. It was more likely freedom of smarts.

Limit me to help someone find something, by conversation on a public forum is restricting my freedom of free speech! I thought that was part of this forum's intent, to bring those who have knowledge of things, places, and issues, to those who do not or ask. do we now want to put sheep on some sort of pedestal? Why sheep? why not other fish or game? not everyone think sheep makes the world turn. its just other big animal to harvest and eat.

    Sir,

You're still fairly new to these forums. But anyone that's been on here for a while knows that most sheep threads go south.

I think bushrat was being more facetious than anything.

But this is a privately owned forum, so our 'freedom' only goes as far as the owner(Mike)let's us.

    So far so good

seems to me I have been a member longer than you sir. I'm sure Mike does not want to get away from the full intent of this private forum of exchanging information among members.

Why don't you share with the whole inter webs where your favorite sheep, moose, goat, bear honey hole is then?!? Some things are just best to get your boots on the ground and find for yourself....

Is there a certain mileage where you start getting into sheepy country?
