Kasilof Motor Restriction
So I have heard a rumor that there will soon be a no 2 stroke motor restriction placed on the Kasilof similar to the Kenai one. Has any one else heard this? Supposed to take effect in 2017.
The Kenai/Soldotna AC submitted a 2017 BOF proposal seeking to make the regs for motor use in the Kasilof dipnet fishery the similar to those in the Kasilof sport fishery. Essentially trying to keep it a drift fishing river like it has been for many years, with limited motor use down at the mouth to assist getting out.
I'm not aware of anything else in the works, but that doesn't mean much...
