    Default Nice viewing.....no shooting

bear1.jpgbear2.jpg I finally bought one of these cellular game cams and placed it on my bait near talkeetna. I had planned on adding my cell booster to the camera but even with spotty(very spotty) service I haven't needed it. It has been pumping me up getting texts at home and work during the week. When theres no action I can text a command and it sends text back so I can check if its been hit at all. If old Ephraim happens to show up I guess I'll have a sudden onset of the flu and take off running from work.

This is the one I have https://www.amazon.com/Hunting-Camer...s=mms+game+cam

Reading the regs it does seem confusing as to whether or not its legal. Glad I haven't hunted there. I'm gonna have to get clarification tomorrow. Wildlife watching has been sweet though

I wouldn't think that viewing an animal that was at or is currently on your bait would be considered 'aiding'.
Unless of course you went out and shot it directly after viewing the photo.

Happily, Kindly post what you discover.

And akrstabout, thank you for informing us all.

I actually looked into years ago, maybe even had a thread on the forums somewhere. It's not legal... Last I knew

They are legal to use as a camera only but NOT activated with service. I know this as a fact..

Rules look a little clearer now that drones have come into the picture. Been a couple years since I was checking into it. It's gonna work good guarding the trailer I guess
