Default Maybe I haven't had enough coffee, but no permit numbers this year?

I picked up my permit last week and went to put my new permit number on my buoy. I looked at the permit front, back and sideways and perhaps I really need glasses but I couldn't find a permit number on this years permit. I did put my name, address and vessel number on the buoy as per previous years but I've always had my permit number as well and was just confirming no permit numbers this year.

Paul, I don't remember ever having to put a permit # on my gear...just the standard means to identify me: name, address, phone #, vessel reg#. I'm thinkin' you're golden on this one.

I noticed the same thing and asked ADFG. They said no permit number required like years past, just the standard markings as described in the regs. There is a number under the barcode but is not required.

Thanks, so I wasn't imagining things I've always put my permit # on my buoy so I was looking all over this years permit trying to find the number to no avail.

Did finally manage to get in a soak on Tuesday and ended up with ~ 3 gallons of whole shrimp
