    Anyone know the status of the ice at Paxton lake?

    I suggest calling Meir's lake (lodge, restaurant ) I've seen their ad in the milepost. Laker fishing after ice out is great. Spent about 12 years going there late May.

    Parson is completely ice free. Lakers are biting, though I didn't get into anything with much size. Drove up to Summit to check the ice, it is still locked up, but pretty rotten and should come off pretty soon with some warm weather and wind.

    Summit is still covered after first 1/4 of north end. Fielding is covered after 1/2 of north end. Tangle Lakes open. Campground was sold out Saturday night until everyone got tired of unrelenting 50 mph wind out of north and left.
