    Default Moving to Fairbanks

G'day! I'm moving up from Juneau it looks like, taking a trip up Thursday to finalize details of my promotion.

I'm just looking for information on waterfowl hunting the area. Don't need hidden spots or anything, but just water vs field, etc. Should I sell my floaters here, or keep them things like that. Just looking for some advice since I don't know anything about the area and here in Juneau you mostly just hunt the tidal flats, have to hunt water, no fields and you have to watch the tides.

Short season around Fairbanks, most people are moose hunting around the first. The geese come through quick and then you're down to ducks. You would want a boat to get to decent hunting areas and to extend the season. You can hunt over decoys from field blinds or over water.
