Default Brown Bears in Nuka Bay area.

I have searched the archives and came up with nothing on brown bears in the Nuka Bay area, Nuka Passage. I will be hunting / fishing in the area and was looking for any information that someone may have. I.E. don't waste you time or you would have a good chance of seeing one..... take a tag.
Thanks in advance for the information.

I have friends that have spent summers there for the last 27 years and have never seen one. Used to be lots of black bears but those seem to have disappeared too.

Furthest south brown bear I've seen is in Northwestern Fjord out of Seward side. But that was a lot of years ago. Spent a lot of time commercial fishing that area in the early 90's and never saw any sign. But, bears have legs.

Not much feed there in those places except where salmon are running. I would imagine the vast majority of kenai brown bear stick fairly close to salmon streams
