Default anybody driving a polaris general?

looks like a nice mix of a ranger and razor. 100 hp, not much of a box for cargo, 4500 winch, and power steering.

A buddy of mine bought one and we took a short trip just goofing off. I really like the interior layout and the suspension is great, looks like a RZR suspension just beefed up. Cargo capacity is pretty good, well way better than RZR and with tilt bed to boot. If I had the choice between a RZR S and General- would not be a choice, I would own a General.
I do own a RZR S and really like it, but for hunting, work, goofing off I think the General is better suited.
    Just my 2 cents.

Had to look this one up, as I am not a Polaris person. Interesting looking machine though. Wonder how much trouble people will get into up here with all of the horse power?
I did not look up what the cost of this machine was but......

I have the Deluxe model(orange and white). We love it so far. The fox shocks are like butter on the bumpy stuff. Great power and really comfortable. For someone that likes to play and work/hunt, it's the best of both worlds.

Our neighbors that we ride with bought one in March. They bought the blue one that has the bigger tires/winch already on it. They got it at a steal as the dealer did not know what he was selling until it was too late. We went out in our new Ranger and their General two weeks ago at Jim Creek, it's a great machine. Had I been able to sit 3 people in it instead of just two, I would have bought one myself.

How are these generals holding up guys? I know they are new and first year but I'm really close to pulling the trigger on one.

Well I picked mine up yesterday. Went with the base model and added 4500lb Winch, sport top and half windshield. Next will be 14" wheels, 30" tires and 3" bracket lift. Only have about 10-15 miles on it but love it so far!

Still loving the new General, I put a set of 14" wheels and ITP Cryptid 30" tires. It sure does go good in the mud/swamps and drives nice on hard pack trails also. I just got my 4" Lift in today so I will have that on soon also.

I was really excited about them when they were announced. I ran down and sat in the first one HPAK got in stock and was disappointed. The more upright seating and lower front roof amongst other ergonomics issues just made it to small for big guys'll the 6'5",250+lb range. I'll stick with RZR platform for the time being, though the thought of a RZR with a tilt bed sure is appealing

I sat in the Rzr and general and I felt the general had more interior width and I felt more comfortable in it. The little larger bed is nice to for hauling stuff as I use it to go to my cabin.
