    Default Tenders

I was wondering how many people actually register a motorized inflatable for there ocean boats? Or if anyone has ever been fined for using an unregistered motorized inflatable in the ocean?

    Thanks

If it's got a motor on it it needs to be registered. I have mine registered and know of one person that was fined for not having his registered.

If they even see you with a motor for your tender, you will be either given a warning or a fine. That happened to me a few years back (maybe longer) when the rules changed. The tender was on the roof, and the 2.5 kicker was on a bracket out back so it clearly was for the tender so I needed to have the tender registered.
