Thursday 6:30 pm we will have a complimentary chilli dinner, then lectures and discussions about commands and training with an over view of the clinic, and a meet and greet time. It is very important that participants in the Tundra Kennels GOOD START Clinic to attend the Thursday evening session to get the very most out of this clinic, we also encourage both husband and wife, or partner and anyone that is going to handle this dog to attend the clinic together to maintain consistency in training.

Saturday June 4th, schedule will be the same as Friday with the work moving with the needs of the dogs. then in the evening more demonstrations for those interested.
Sunday June 5th we will discuss what we have done so far, and discuss what each person feels they need to work on, then go to the field and review what we have done, and work on setting launchers and setting up training scenarios, end with a final discussion and questions.

I've had the pleasure of briefly meeting Don Holum and can verify he is indeed a dog man. That's a significant endorsement of the man as any other dog men and women will realize. I've not met his dogs or seen his operation, but just from talking to him I can say how anyone wanting to get a pup started in the right direction, get an older dog back on the right path, and just have a bunch of fun hanging out with dog people and their dogs and doing some training should go to this clinic. I hope to at least slip down there for an afternoon of camaraderie to swap lies, meet some great like-minded folks and some terrific dogs, and maybe sneak some good grouse or ptarmigan intelligence in the process.
