Quartz creek and the bridge launch are both open. When I called them a few weeks ago, Parks said they are not going to close skillak/quartz creek over the winters. (Not sure if they normally do, they made it sound like they do)

Lake Lucille was ice free yesterday (4/11) viewing from the Parks. Wasilla Lake had ice on the west end only right near the swim beach out to about 100 yards.

I am going to bet Nancy Lake will be a little bit longer yet.

I don't think there is a place at Wasilla Lake to launch this year. They have had the gate locked when I have been down to the resort.

Spent the day on Kenai Lake yesterday. Launched at Quartz. Water is pretty low , so watch out for the drop off below the ramp. It can get real steep quickly.
