Your picture in thumbnail size looks like a face. The nose and mouth of a human the way the trees and logs are. Looks like abstract art. Blown up that goes away though. I have no idea what your post says though.

As long as the barrel contains NO SCENT, you are good. If it does.....

Nope. Just very unethical ways. Known to bait whenever they want and leave stands up year round.

The barrel could be clean. I don't know. But when I taught the bear baiting class the trooper that worked with me was very particular about anything being placed in the field that could affect the olfactory senses of the bears.

Brand new barrel that had windshield fluid and rinsed clean . No scent at all. I know the law and its not worth trying to break it. I accidently did that one time not worth the hassle. But next Saturday the barrel will be full and the scent will be out then. The site is all registered and when we leave there will not be anything left either. But I appreciate that others are trying to helps us all stay legal.

Yep. Never had any doubt. I set up a bait station this year for the first time in many. Can't wait to get some stinky stuff going and watch some bears. Might even take a moose muncher if I can. I'm in 14b in case anyone is wondering. Brownie baiting!!!!!!!!

That is good. Glad to hear it. The laws are sometimes confusing but it is getting better, I hope. I remember my one and only ticket well. :-)

    Blackbear,

Was that you we ran into Saturday up on the mountain? I was in uniform and had a bunch of new recruits out on a hike. Yes, I'm trying to be somewhat vague so as to not give away any details as to your location if it was you we met. lol
