    Default Rock in barrel

For those of you using a barrel with one or two small hole to dispense dog good (or similar products), where the bear has to roll the barrel around to get food, has anyone tried putting a rock (or other object) in their barrel larger than the hole, so that if the dog food is gone before it can be replenish, the rock will roll around and the bear will think there is something in it and stick around a little longer, hopefully until it can re baited. Do you think it fooled the bears or are they too smart. If nobody tried, it do you think it would help.

I have tossed small logs inside coated in molasses and honey. keeps a solid scent but once again they still will want some type of food source... A keg hanging from a tree with popcorn inside is a great shaker barrel to allow some additional food at the site.
