    Default Kasilof Kings

Are the kings in the kasilof yet. Going down to the peninsula this weekend to visit family. My 6 year old daughter desperately wants to catch a king. If its too early I may try to see if I can find an unfortunate bear.

If she wants a King you need to take her out of Homer.

I'd expect folks in CA to have lower expectations.

As far as I'm concerned Californians bare an unhealthy resemblance to Frenchmen. I will make exceptions to Californians who own guns.

Everything in its time. King time isn't here yet, but ice out rainbows are! Show the kiddo what a blast it is to catch big rainbows in any of the myriad lakes in the Valley, and fish them hard till mid May when kings start trickling in.
