Ran from old bridge up to wolf point a couple weeks ago, zero issues. River was wide open and water was above normal level.

Doing the annual knik river ride on April 9th at 10am if anyone cares to join us! Meet at the old bridge then head upriver for a BBQ at the glacier.

    Awesome!
Always a good time. Might have some new jetboaters joining us also. Cant wait to get out.

Couple jeeps made the run in the past. Anything you can boat, drive, or fly, bring it!

If I'm in town, I might fly up and join in. I might be bear hunting or clam digging instead, but otherwise I'll stop by for sure. I flew up over the area today - looks great!

Does anyone ever mess with your truck at the Old Glenn bridge? I have never launched there before. Always just at the highway.

    Where do you launch?

Not yet in many, many years of doing this.
Of course theres always a first but I sure hope not. We park right next to the hwy off the old glenn by the old RR bridge.
Airboats launch in the pond right there, I imagine the jetboater could lunch on the south side of the bridge or run up from the glenn hwy further down by the duck flats.

Look forward to getting out with everybody.

Depends on the weather. If end up going you can take for spin. It's pretty fun and fast.

I have a 16' riveted jon with a 40hp 2 stroke jet. I have ran up 20 mile a bit, but that's about the extent of my river jet boat experience. Would I be able to make it up with you? Where should I put in at? How long does the motor up to the glacier take?

    Thanks!
    Adam

X2...I would like to go but have only been on the Knik once or twice and not very far. How far of a run is it so I can plan gas?

Correct, 1 or 1.5hr run each way.
Launch jetboats below the bridge, better ground for the truck to drop the boat in the river.
