    Default tide tables?

I'm new to Alaska and my son and I are planning to fly to Polly Creek to go get some Razor Clams. I have found a site that gives tide tables.

    http://co-ops.nos.noaa.gov/stations.html#Alaska

However, I don't see a place called Polly Creek. Would someone advise what is close to Polly Creek that is listed on the tide tables at the above link?

    Thanks,

    Russ

The tide at Clam Gulch is Seldovia + 1hr 40min, give or take a few minutes. Polly is pretty much straight across, so it should be close. Pretty much every AK tide book has Seldovia.

Anyone know what the minimum tide is for decent digging over there? 0 or lower? Hoping to head over myself soon.

anything less that a minus 1 is great, and gives you lots of time.
tide tables use Deep Creek, you wont have to do any calculations..

Thanks for the tip Pole Bender. While everyone else was busy tangling lines in the great shrimp race of 16', we managed a few coolers full of moss-backed dollar bill sized razors. Covered 100 miles and didn't see another boat, plane, or person all day!

If the sea cooperate we will be headed across in a boat this comming weekend. Went last year with a charter so we're going to see how we can do. I guess we just look for 15 feet of water or so and let the tide go out?

Pretty much what we did. We were about .95mi from the beach. Hoping for some good weather this weekend as well - gonna yurt it up in K-Bay.
