    Default Morning Station?

Is there a place in Whittier where someone can park a boat away from other boats for a few hours if they wanted to do some testing with very little water flow?

Yes, but you have to do it in the afternoon! Ha.

Are you going to be just running the motor or do you want to get up on step and try to see how she goes? You could rent a slip for the day and motor around the harbor and then poke out into the bay to run faster.

I'm thinking about testing a boat for hull potential using a silver/silver-chioride reference electrode and I need a place that had no or very little current flow and free of AC/ DC current in the water. A slip would be the best location except for the possible current in the water.

You could hit a slack tide out in passage canal or run up into Shotgun at slack. You might also try pulling up close to shore behind the freight loading dock.
