Thread: WTB Spare Outboard Jet Foot

Default WTB Spare Outboard Jet Foot

I have been searching craigslist for a spare foot for my jet unit with no luck. I have an AB jet which I was told is a 6-1/8" intake. If anyone has a jet foot they would be willing to part with, I'll take it. Maybe someone has a blown outboard they are willing to part out? A new foot is over $200. I would prefer to buy a used one to keep in the boat for emergencies.

    Thanks in advance!

Consider buying a new UHMW jet foot and keeping your old one as the spare.

Does you not have a jet tunnel on your boat? I have never seen a broken foot in person, but a friend had his fall off!

I'll keep an eye out but have never seen on on CL.

Sadly I do not have a tunnel. I just got this old Jon boat last summer. I may put in a tunnel eventually.

I am very intrigued by the UHMW foots! Does anybody have some experience running one? Pros and cons?

Also, I took a closer look at my boat ( I haven't had it for very long) and I actually have an L jet which is a 6-5/8" intake.

    Thanks!
