Default Found a dumped caribou carcass today

I live in south Anchorage and one of my regular walk-the-dog spots is the spruce bog behind the municipal snow dump. I was there just this Friday (4 Mar) and tonight, just behind the Jersey barriers, there was a cleaned caribou carcass.

Seriously? I mean, seriously? You went through all the effort to travel what was likely 100+ mile to where the caribou are, probably used a snowmachine (which means a heavy investment in gear). You killed one and did a good job of removing the meat, but then decided to get lazy at the end and dumped the skeleton and hide (along with an old fridge) in a place that gets daily foot traffic?

Way to lead the PR effort for the anti-hunting crowd, you fother mucking idiot.

    I hope you get worms.
If cave men had been trophy hunters the Wooly Mammoth would be alive today

Move the fridge so it partially blocks access, then hang snares for the local wolves!!

And then there are those who couldn't care less if they're alone or not.... You see them all the time just driving around, or at least what "they" think is considered driving.

    VERY strange sometimes.......lol
Sheep hunting...... the pain goes away, but the stupidity remains...!!!

What really sucks about this, is that there are people out there that would gladly accept the carcass to feed there dogs. We donate all of our bones from the animals that we harvest to local mushers every year.
    Such a waste!!!!
