Default Moving to Homer... Any Shellfish?

    Hey y'all,

I'm moving up to AK from WY, originally from CA. My question is pretty straight forward, and for some reason, I can't find much info. I'm wondering what kind of shellfish I can find in the Cook Inlet area. I'm really looking for shrimp!! Are there any near Homer??

There have been tanner crab seasons in years past, but the last few years haven't had a season due to an inadequate population of harvestable crabs.

We used to be able to bring home dungies too, but they shut that down a long time ago......

With the current otter population and the lack of anything to cull some of them out I wouldn't expect to see crab or clams make a comeback anytime soon
