Default Figure Eight lake trail closed to motorized vehicles!

On my way home to the creek today I saw where Figure Eight trail has been posted as closed to all Motorized Vehicles due to insufficient ground frost. AH, peace and quite!

Already been a couple of idiots out here already. Moose hunting in side by sides. All they did was get stuck and go home with no moose. Typical townie subsistence hunters..... clueless and Mooseless!

I hear the lower Beluga trail is getting iffy (pipeline]. How's the river at Alex? And beyond if you've heard.

I am in Beluga now. Thinking of riding out next week. Maybe.

No snow at all on the swamp and no snow from the West Channel to Alexander. You have to stay on the ice. Only trail out is thru five fingers and down the east channel which is Five miles of solid ice. Just follow the carbide and scratcher marks! I quit hauling freight days ago and if I go back to town it will be on a set of hockey skates!
