    Default Robertson River

Things are looking good on the Robertson. We have so low levels of snow accumulation this year so the season should have a fairly mild, but early start. Keeping in mind it is a glacier fed river, even in mid summer there's plenty of flow for a great float. Give us a call and see what we can do for getting you out there enjoying this remote paradise.

Nice website. What kind of aircraft do you operate and what are their load capabilities? (I realize this can vary depending on the strip selected)

Thank you! Sorry for the delay. We have Super Cub's and a 185. We can haul roughly three quarters ton and under, or were you wondering more on volume?

Would a 14' round boat be too large for the Robertson?

This side of the state has some wonderful and under loved rivers to explore. What is really nice about the many rivers served by Tok Air is how many are fly in and float out to a road. This allows the client to reduce costs and have a true wilderness experience.

We offer 12, 13 and 14 foot round boats as well as 16 SOAR Canoes which are perfect for all of these rivers. We also have 9 Foot Fish Cats which are safe, fun and san cary a light weight camp package! Prices range from $65 to 105 per day (depending on the inflatable)

We can deliver all packages to Tok or you can pick them up at Mile 127.5 of the Richardson Highway!

i understand that and thanks for the reply

i was looking at the Robertson as a family trip since we have 2 small boys and it looks like an easy float without any major obstacles.

we have a couple of 1-man pontoons we could use if it was just me and the wife but for the whole family, would opt for the round boat.

I am looking at get an Aire 143R here soon, but didn't know if that would be too big for the Robertson river.

Also, if there any fishing to be done there or is it too silty from the glacier?

We added the single man Fish Cats and modified the cargo rack and last summer they rent out on lots of trips. Most of the time we rent them as a second play boat on the Gulkana but I sent a bunch down the Delta as a single boat as well. Lost of fyn, light weight and cost effective!

So is the Robertson too small for a 14' round raft?
