As of yesterday when we left, fires are still alowed in the campground fire pits. Be careful though, they are doing inspections and writing tickets for unattended campfires.

Fires are allowed in your camp in your pits of course. As was stated in the prevous post. Dont not leave them unattended and do not leave coolers, pots, pans or anything out to attract bears. They are writing tickets. Was done there for 2 weekends all ready this year and had no issues with bears in steelhead campground. One buddy had a blackie come through camp and lick his grill clean though. Enjoy a warm fire and friends
