    Default 2016 Hunting Pics...

Last year the hunting pics thread didn't start up till April. Yesterday a forum member killed a nice wolf. Maybe we should start the 2016 thread a little earlier this year?

Cod you wanna start it off buddy...???

OK. I'll go. Male wolf shot once w 223 cal, 62 grain green tip at 40 yards after responding to rabbit distress hand call. Wolf travelled about 15 ft and dropped dead from shoulder to liver shot.

Nice work, I've only made a couple stands down here so far, no animals yet. Lots of new country to learn!

I was lucky enough to pull a DX003 tag last year and connected with a nice young bull earlier this month. Went out with James Whitman and could not recommend his services enough!

Congrats for sure. Those critters are so cool...!!! I'm curious as to what you ended up doing with the hide? Shoulder mount, life size, Euro and rug?...???

Euro and rug. Wish I could have gone with a shoulder mount, but don't really have the room. They are truly awesome critters for sure. We had a blast out there!
