    ABYC Marine Corrosion Certification in Alameda, CA

    ABYC's Corrosion Certification course, hosted by Bay-Ship & Yacht Co., will be taught by ABYC's Lead Certification Instructor Kevin Ritz. Corrosion prevention strategies and testing methods will be discussed at length and concepts such as electrical grounding, electrical current flow, galvanic isolation and marine electrical terminology will be covered in this 4 day course.

    If you know nothing about corrosion, the course would be very helpful. In order to use what you learned you will needs several pieces of test equipment. The cooperation of the harbor master, a boat repair shop to work out of and boaters that are willing to do what it takes to fix the problem not just replace anodes and repair what has been destroyed.

    I almost forgot live near a salt water port.
