    Default Spring blackie pics!!!!

I'm in need of some spring bear porn. Getting the itch to get up to the mainland and do a spring hunt, I didn't get to make my annual vacation to Cooper Landing this past fall and I'm getting real antsy. So lets see some spring black bear pics, and stories, especially them spot and stalkers.

Ill do even better. Here is a video of my son's bear from several years ago. There were two pigs that both came in and started fighting a little bit. My son was in a stand down and to my right, so he had to wait a while for the bear to inch forward enough to get a clear shot at the vitals, and ended up smoking him. He flew over 7 feet through the air and pile drived into the tree after the shot... The bear squared 6'2".

Like the recurve man, respect...I've been chasing them in the fall 2 trips up there now with no luck, I did get to 25yds once and he winded me without giving a shot. Think this spring the 308 will be coming tho. That other pic...Is that a river bed with the sand in the lower post?

LOL! Cory, did that thing split his skull? Kidding of course but I think I can hear the thud of his melon meeting wood.

    J,

How big is the bear in the first picture? Looks like a hog! The bear in the second pic looks impressive, too.

First bear was pushing 7.5 (21 skull) second bear was 7+. Killed about four hours apart. Second bear was my hunting partners bear.

Either that bear is a pig, or just the picture makes him look really big. Nice one.
