Default Rossi 357 hanging like a champ

Just an update: put some more rounds through the newish rossi 357. And it's banging away like s champ. It is a smidgen smoother, but in time I'm sure it will become butter. After reading about the fate of the 1894c, I am sure glad I didn't hold out for another one of those! I'm considering getting the 410 rossi lever... anyone have one?

I have a Rossi Rio Grande in 45-70. One of the first things I did was research how to completely disassemble it, give it a thorough cleaning and smooth down the action. I also smoothed down the sharp edges on the loading gate so it wouldn't tear up my thumb while loading. It was time well spent and it is a nice smooth action now.
