    Default Barrel change cost ?

I have a 3006 110 barrel on my old savage i want to swap it with a new savage 3006 barrel. What should that cost ? The cost I got seemed a little high just for a barrel swap?

    Thanks

If you are talking just labor, and you are supplying the barrel, with no other work like inletting, etc. then about 60.00 should be average in my shop.

Shameless plug here for Gunbugs, a.k.a. "Doug's Repairs". He does excellent work on a variety of gunsmithing tasks at a reasonable price.
