Tim Lydon will give an update on the Wilderness Study Area and Forest Service work in western Prince William Sound. He is seeking volunteers to assist with stewardship projects in the area, including free transportation to/possibly from the work site for those looking for a sea kayaking adventure next summer. Tim will also provide an update on the Chugach National Forest Plan, including Prince William Sound, that is currently open for public comments. Tim can answer general questions about management of the area, places to go, hazards, planning, or other topics. Jack Mosby will show us slides of his recent trips down the Kukpowruk River (13 days and 150 miles in the NW corner of the North Slope), and the Kugurouruk, Kelly, and Noatak Rivers (13 days) on the south side of NW Brooks Range.When: Thursday, January 28th, 7pm-9pmWhere: BP Energy Center - behind BP Headquarters Building at 900 E.
