    Default 22-250 Reduced Loads

Has anyone tried a reduced load using Hornady 55 Gr FMJ and IMR 4227?

My old (3rd Edition) Hornady manual has loads listed using this data and I was curios about the results.

    Thanks.

I loaded some for a bud many years ago for his fox hunting. He liked the results so much he got his own reloading outfit. Far as I know, he's still loading them.

He's using them on fox and really likes the results. At the time I started loading for him you could buy 55 ball bullets (Winchester?) by the bazillion for not much money from Midway. Dunno what source he's using now.
