Default Big bull caribou mount (youth hunt)

Finished up a big velvet caribou this morning that was taken by a young girl during the new youth caribou hunt. Got R finished up just in time for Christmas. Caribou was taken on the 10 Aug opener, good Caping job and attention to details on the velvet rack makes my job that much easier and overall a superb mount.

More pics of it on my business page for those who wish to look.

Nice Jesse....Love that palmation up top. What did they do for you with velvet......did they inject it?
Sheep hunting...... the pain goes away, but the stupidity remains...!!!

No, the temps are pretty warm 10 August, so getting it cool, in the shade helps. It also helps to shoot em on tundra and not in the rocks. Don't ratchet strap em down to a quad and hit every mud hole on the way out. Crew simple things that make good. Great..

Keep em cool, dry, and get em to me ASAP, 3-4 days max and I can tank em in a 250 gal solution for 7-10 days. Small ones go in 3-5, medium 5-7, big 7-10, moose 10-14 days.
