Default Largest fish youve caught icefishing ON the road system in south central AK?

Just curious what the largest fish people have pulled out of South Central AK while icefishing on the road system? The largest fish I seem to come up with is the broodstock char Fish and Game stocks into the lakes...

A twenty nine inch Rainbow on a lake that is now infested with pike, only a memory to catch any more bows like that one.

Yup. Mine came from Lower Fire Lake. We used to catch 20 - 24 in rainbows out of there pretty regularly up till about 8 years ago.

Has anyone fished hard water on the big lakes down on the KP? Kenai, Skilak, Tustumena?

They can produce some good fish. Have seen some beauties pulled out of Hidden Lake and some monster bows out of Skilak. I've only caught kokanee in Hidden.
