Yep heard from Yetena Station all looking smooth. May make a run at it this weekend depending on what happens with this storm.

I don't advise travel by anyone unless you are a "SEASONED" river runner. I will remind everyone about some early season IronDoggers that went swimming last year on the Yetena.

Pilot friend said near scary tree and the big su side was a little iffy and jumbled up. Might have to take the gci trail if you go.

This winter was good while it lasted! Break-Up should occur sometime over Thanksgiving weekend?

Oh well, there's always next year.

    LOL....

I seen aerial pics from the weekend....lots of open leads still. Lots of overflow. I think some of it was around GCI but not sure. Now with this warm up here we go again.......I am thinking about heading east.....like to Labrador. They been riding for a month already.

Couple of overflow victims last night near the Deshka mouth. not sure exactly where, maybe Kroto slough, but one had to walk out and go back for the other one....

River may go out if this crap keeps up, I'm glad I'm no longer dependent on it anymore to get to my cabin

Icy/hard, not much snow that's fluffy anymore, and still some sizeable leads. River did freeze flatter and smoother this year though which is a big plus.
