    Default Trapping Regulation changes?

Is it just me or have the regs changed. I thought that Snowshoe hares were listed in the reg books for trapping. I can not find them in the trapping reg book and that would mean that you can only take them under a hunting license which means you cannot sell the hides. Am i correct on this?

According to the 2015-2016 Hunting regulations, Snowshoe and Alaska hare are listed under small game. That would mean they can be taken with a hunting license. As far as selling the hides, page 17 lists the "Use of game" criteria. There is nothing noted there prohibiting the sale of hides for small game. There are however, restrictions on furbearers. Fur animals must be taken with a hunting license, where as, furbearers must be taken with a trapping license. Definitions can be found on page 34. I hope that this helps.
